Working Alongside City Staff to Realize Dubuque’s Vision

While the City has an incredible vision for our park system, municipal staff face limited funding and staffing constraints to execute every project alone.

Friends of Dubuque Parks exists to bridge that gap.

We don't pick projects at random. We work directly with City staff to advance their prioritized initiatives, providing the volunteer power, community outreach, and fundraising needed to check items off the Master Plan.
