National Night Out is a long-standing event meant to raise awareness of community policing efforts. It aims to promote positive interactions between police and residents, as well as build relationships within communities.
While the event is primarily hosted by the Dubuque Police Department, many other City departments and offices often participate by hosting information booths and activities for attendees. There will also be inflatable attractions, food trucks, tours of emergency vehicles, games, and lots of opportunities for kids to explore the Allison-Henderson playground equipment.
